Originally posted by Vallista I posted a month ago about wanting the K-1 since i've own the k-3. However right now it doesn't looking like I'm going to buy the k-1. The main reason is not enough lenses for me to make the switch and price. While the body is a good price, the lens are too expensive. On my old nikon D750, I had 50mm 1.8 for night club work and looking to buy 85mm 1.8 & macro lens. Right now the K-1 doesn't have prime FF 55mm 1.8 or 1.4. I can't find macro lens for the k-1. Maybe if Pentax comes out with the K-1 ii in the future then more lenses will be out.
You are joking right? You meant not enough "DFA" series of lenses for K1 that I can understand. However, Pentax tradition is to bank on all the K mount lenses you currently have or you can "FIND". Is no differ than all the Leica cameras using old design of "Leica M" lenses. There is really no shortage of lenses actually. It's all in your mind.
First of all, they do have 55 1.8 just it's not FA.. It's a K. There are always macro as DFA 100 or FA 50/100 or even DA35.... I think what you are really saying is, "New camera came out, but I don't see enough new autofocus lenses coming out just like SONY when they first introduced A7 series".
