Love the intro... ROFL...

All those folk who were complaining about the 24-70 shootout should be a little red-faced.

Excellent quick review. Make me want to buy the camera so it's a success. The intro with a beautiful female voice is priceless

Great review. Very little not to like about the K-1.

I couldn't get it to run until I turned off Parental Controls on my TV.

As others have noted - nice play on Skewered.

Shockingly positive review. Said all the stuff it isn't (pro sports camera, video camera, LCD overdone) and then said, "But so what? It's a GREAT still camera." Positive on the 24-70 and 70-210, too.

Sidebar, I clicked a control on YouTube Channel I'd never seen before and connected my iPad to my TV through my FireTV. I have no idea what kind of technology but what a gas! (Guess I'm getting old).

Not in the market for a K-1 myself, but I usually enjoy watching the Camera Store vids and this particular review was no exception.

Have to say I gasped a little around the 6 minute mark when Chris just tosses the camera from one hand to the other.

Same here--I tend to be the type that babies electronics. Might grow out of that with the Pentax cameras.

Good review with plenty of positive comments, fair comments about weaknesses, and good humour

Or when they held it in the stream. Plenty of videos online of putting a Pentax through a quick run under a faucet, but never seen anyone just stick one into a stream like that.

Fantastic and well put video hands-on.

The type of thing that is willing to have a Pentax slant to it that I often find Pentax Forums itself lacking when it does reviews of Pentax stuff.

I really appreciate how they go about clearing up the points/cons of the camera.
Poorer video - no big deal; Its catered for stills.
Not the fastest AF - Its not for the sports shooter, but its going to be totally alright for most other folks.

Not to mention that they bothered to clarify on the Pixel shift artifacts in LR vs PDCU. (shame on DPR )

A fantastic review on all fronts. A great advertisement for Pentax, and hopefully will attract new blood to the brand.

I enjoyed the review and the photos were great! Super sharp and nice color. Makes me really want one. Although they had a ton of great lenses to play with. I wouldn't be able to get all of those lenses for a long time.
That was fun to watch!

I was preparing to be the angry Pentaxian when the intro started Fun to watch and the only gripes he had are actually costumizable.
It made me wan't to go out and shoot even if it is poring down...

Chris Nicols was also very complementary in his review of the K-3.

Anyway, enough chat, I'm off out shooting! It's a gorgeous day here in Devon.

Loved that review. Started giggling at the disclaimer thinking of some people here at PF, then laughed out loud when he talked about the BBQ skewers
