Short test of the night capabilities of the K-1 on Heise

In German only:
c't Fotografie (Heise) yesterday published some results of an astro session with the K-1, EOS 6D (with an adapted Nikkor), and Alpha 7s.

They were very pleased with the results of the K-1, not only because of the astrotracer function, but the fact that there was nearly no noise up to ISO 3200. Only at ISO 6400 noise climbed to the noise level of the EOS 6D.

I read it. A really nice review overall. While it is obvious to me though that any static objects in the capture of course and obviously will appear blurry with astrotracer enabled, it seemed like an unexpected negative to the tester.
An easy fix with a duplicate static exposure in post though.

As someone who can't read German, I found this text amusing: "Damit die Autotracer". Why do they want to kill it?

Just for the next readers:

der, die, das are the equivalents of "the" in English, gender dependend.
"die" is feminin, as in "Astrotracer Funktion" the word "Funktion" (=function) is a feminin word in German just as in roman languages.

Too bad that they do not have pictures taken with Sony though they had it there. They should also compare K-1 with Nikon D810a otherwise nice review.

What mister Nonhoff-Arps missed in that comparison is to mention the ISO setting of the EOS 6D. Thus the comparison is worthless.

But heise's authors are no professionals, neither photographers nor journalists; most of them even have difficulties keeping up with orthography and interpunctation.

(Keep in mind: German is a language used mostly by native speakers, where english is a language mostly used by non-native speakers)

So what's to be expected?

Under the pictures you can find ISO settings for both cameras... ISO1600 otherwise it is logical that they meant that comparison is done at the same ISO settings on both cameras.
