Yup, I'd expect to start seeing them next year.

I would be very happy if they released the wide lenses first.

The problem is the DFA15-30 is 1.6x the price of the Tamron 15-30, and the Zeiss 21 (not available in K mount) is way better than the Tamron zoom. So, I can't shoot FF uwa this year? Annoying.

Just take the plunge on the 15-30mm. The Tamron isn't available for Pentax so why compare?

Or you could go for a manual focus option: there are plenty and they are much cheaper, after all! Maybe not as sharp, but then enter pixel shift.

I have just won an excellent looking full frame wide angle in a photo competition. The Sigma 20/1.4. How brilliant would that be on the K-1? Ideal for night sky photography too. The catch is that they don't make it in K mount. I'm sure this lens would appeal to K1 owners so could everybody please petition Sigma to make it available. Thanks, then I can get my free lens

or sell off the K1 system (that shouldn't be an issue, some people or waiting for inventory to refill), when saving 1K on each of 4 tamron lenses, I can easily finance a D810 or 5DSR, BTW the at low ISO the 5DSR resolves as much as K1 pixel shifted, but the 5DSR does not need any tripod.

To Dr Orloff:
Ask Sigma whether they can change the mount of your lens to convert it to k-mount. It is a service they already offer for several lenses.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Is there an easy way to keep threads, started by ignored forum members, from appearing in the "latest threads" section of the forum homepage?

Earlier you were critical of the lack of long Pentax lenses, then the Tracking AF (which you figured out and helped others to use) - and now it is lack of FF primes that frustrates you. Each time you have considered moving on - which is fine. Many people have for precisely your reasons.

Yet you stay, and continue to purchase new Pentax equipment.

I have to ask; precisely what complete kit and capability will satisfy your needs?

I like the reaction of "ignore" everytime we dump some pure truth on the table. They've released the 15-30 (reuse from Tamron), 24-70 (reuse from Tamron), 70-200 (likely Ricoh design), 150-450 (likely Ricoh design), now if they have resources working on optics, I was hopping for some wide angle release from Ricoh this year, especially because we've already seen photographs with some prototypes of prime lenses.

Same as Rondec once mentioned, the 15-30 is rather large and expensive, I like the DA15 ltd size so much (except its field curvature), a wide angle prime sharp f4 full frame image circle priced <=$1K with filter thread allowing common filters would be perfect. For the 15-30, first it's expensive, second a special fixture is needed to mount filters on the front element, third it's big, fourth it's likely not as good as a prime. Medium size affordable wide angle prime for K1 wanted. I replied abruptly to adam's answer, as this year I already spend a bunch on money on Ricoh gear and this must stop :-), I don't want to spend 10K on FF camera gear. But maybe maybe, in order to afford the DFA15-30, I could try to print €100 banknotes photographed with K1 with 100 macro in pixel shift mode.

Maybe $10K is the the Pentax entry price for what you want. I don't know prices, but are you asking for a D610 and consumer lenses when Pentax has (possibly) chosen a higher price layer for its FF, and lower price with great optics at f/4 for APSc?
