Is K-1 successful attempt of Nikon Df philosophy?

Yes, the Pentax K1 (II) is of course a flagship.

But surely there is a demand from the pro / semi-pro users for more compact dslr cameras?

And a Pentax successor camera - as lightweight as the Nikon Df - would also be nice for street photography, or landscape photography on a long walk.
