Its under "others (please specify)". The same goes for those who didn't have any camera before K-1.

Way too early too draw any conclusions but after 29 votes it looks like very few recruits from other brands.

My go to camera was the X-T1. I've had my K1 for just over a month, the Fuji equipment is now for sale.

I am pretty sure most of us early users are upgrading from earlier Pentax models.

Yep.

Sequentially: ME Super, *istDS, K10D, K-5 and since late April, the K-1. A curve of steady and severe improvements.

Because I wanted to understand what camera they used until K-1. Most people here have many cameras. I wanted to avoid answers like what camera that was the last they held in their hands before touching the K-1 for the first time. I also wanted to avoid answers like the most used camera through their entire life. Thats why I formulated not only most used but also recently most used. If you have used several cameras equally much recently before the K-1, then I'm sorry I didn't enable multi votes for this poll. I think that may have caused some to vote for all the cameras they ever had (despite the question).
