K1 Pixel-Shift File Size

I am shooting pixel-shift images (not motion) and getting file size of maybe 70 KB, instead of the 150 KB or so I expect. I watch the camera shoot four images, so that indicates pixel-shift is on, but the resulting file size seems too small. Any ideas?

I guess you mean MB, not kB? Well are you outputting raw or jpeg?

Also what is it you are taking pictures of?

I meant MB, sorry. It corrected itself... somehow. It must have turned pixel-shift off by itself, although I have it set to always be on... Memory. Thanks everyone!

For PSR in RAW you should expect the files to be about 3.75x the size of non-PSR RAW at the same ISO.* Are you shooting in crop mode or JPEG by any chance?

No, I am not cropping or JPG, just raw. I am breaking in the Sigma 35mm ART lens, which is very nice with the K1.

Crop mode would explain it. Also, if the scene contains very little detail (i.e. a moonscape), the RAW file size will be smaller due to lossless compression.
