precise calibration

Have a new K1 and have started playing with astrotracer and "precise calibration", but the calibration often fails, even though I rotate the camera in three directions (without dropping!).

Is there a preferred way to do this calibration?

thanks much; great camera

Do you have the GPS turned on? And has it locked on to satellites?

The little GPS icon with bars should turn white instead of red. You'll see it in live view and on the status screen.

To calibrate the camera, rotate it along one axis at a time. 180-degree turns in each direction are fine as long as you end up completing a full revolution. After an attempt or two, the Astrotracer's precision should get much better
