Ouch...since I saw his initial review on the Pentax K-1 that he had to "borrow" from a viewer since Ricoh had still not sent him one to review.

Now, he had to put up an "Attack of the Pentaxians" video?

Although he did like the K-1 for landscaping. It wasn't like he said it was the worst camera ever but was trying to let you know what type of photographer,it would be good for. I wouldn't be able to use it for what I shoot and for certain action events and at times I have gone back to using Canon because the autofocus is just way better.

Tony will never-ever review another Pentax camera.

You may be right. He did sound like he just recorded a tutorial video for the K-1, though.

Basing on what Mr. Northrup said, he has been asking to borrow a K-1 to review it. He was able to get one from his friend. Probably, he was super irritated that Pentax didn't loan him one. But I agree, there's a grain of truth in it.

I wonder.. who is he (to Ricoh)?... did Ricoh send a k-1 to Mr. Rockwell to write review?

Mr Rockwell, IIRC, wrote his review straight off the spec sheet.

Thanks, I noticed the tone at DPR has softened a lot (I mean little not lot) since the introduction of k-1.... may be I will start reading more from DPR...

I think if the actual K-1 users backed off a little bit, honestly corrected errors, appreciated compliments and helped DPR to understand Pentax they could be more open-minded, eventually.

Good idea. Reading it doesn't mean accepting it whole - just means staying calm and giving them room. They can let Pentax be Pentax, which is an alternative.

By definition alternative is different. We need to let them internalize the idea so they can promote it. Antagonizing them just makes it take longer.
