Question about new K1

Hi all,

I'm new to pentax and just got my new K1 today.

When I was playing with it, I felt like something is not fixed and moving inside the camera. Since it never occurred to my old Nikon D7000. I was wondering whether this is normal or I should contact the reseller for a potential problem.

Thanks for your help.

Best,
Ming

This is normal. What you're hearing is the shake reduction mechanism inside the camera (which the D7000 doesn't have). Happy shooting!

It is normal, and if you look around you are not the first one to ask this question.

Which suggests a note in the handbook mightn't be a bad idea.

This should be on the box (or similar)

Maybe make this a sticky and when the question comes up next time (which it will) just point to it.
