Kai (DigitalRev TV) reviews the K-1 - NSFW

Kai used to be good, then he got big and then he got full of himself. His vulgarity came in about the same time, as did the more overt aspects of his sexual innuendo (about which the only good thing which can be said is that it's overt overdone laddishness rather than pervasively creepy). I really don't have time for him any more.

I think at some point he finally got laid and it's gone to his head.

Possibly, but at least IR and DPR don't present their reviews in a flippant manner. I'd rather sift through any biased in an otherwise serious review than wade through BS and irrelevant findings or non-findings.

There really aren't any more buttons on the K-1 than on the Nikon D500 that he was gushing over in another video review. Kai is a fool and apparently quite pleased with himself for it.

exactly what i expected from Kai. Kind of entertaining and definitely not a video to watch if you want actual information about the camera.

To me, most ( if not all ) of his videos / reviews / etc are a waste of time.. the guy is just a clown.

+1 agreed. I saw his videos a couple of times before (initially out of curiosity), quickly learned that is indeed a waste of time.

Not so much, really. Let's be honest. As Pentax cameras have come closer to what DPR views as the standard their reviews have become more favorable.

I did enjoy some of the special episodes on that channel, though. Like pro photographer cheap camera challenge. I'd much rather see interviews and challenges like that than clowning around with a camera
