I suppose that WR on that camera might not work in those conditions. It could be deadly for the camera.

Oop! So Sorry
I mixed up the numbers.
Here's the one.

IMGP5862-PS.DNG - Google Drive

Just note that I am interested in any ideas on how I can pull down the skies/clouds a bit more in exposure.
Thanks again

Bench at Smith Mountain Lake.

Two Trees.

Both shot using the FA 31 limited.

For those interested, I use the median setting for the first image to smooth the water a bit. I tried it as well with the second image, but I ended up with a lot of blur in the branches in the pine trees. Probably the best thing would be to do two versions -- one with the water smoothed and one with the trees sharp and combine them, but that seemed like too much effort.

Smith Mountain Lake Panorama -- combination of three pixel shifted images shot with the FA 77.

(The image on flickr has more detail but still isn't full size -- I just don't have the bandwidth for that).

I use Raw Therapee to create a 16 bit TIFF file and then finish developing it in Lightroom. I could probably use RT for the whole thing, but I'm just not as familiar with that program.
umm. once again. I have been wondering of this..have to admit that I havent really used PS because of not familiar with PP. so you import files, process them to TIFF at Raw Therapy and then import to LR. could this be done in pentax own program, or is people not using it because of slow program or what.

You definitely can run your pixel shift images through DCU. I just haven't found it as powerful or to have as many options as Raw Therapee. It also runs really slow on my computer, while RT is quicker. But before RT supported pixel shift I did use DCU quite a bit and it is decent at correcting motion in your image.

Basically you can process PS files like a regular raw file in every app that supports regular pentax files. Some raw converters support the pixelshift feature in order to take advantage of PS. Afaik these apps are DCU, LR, RT and silkypix Developer Studio.

Correct imho, while LR does not support motion detection at all, whereas the other ones support motion detection more or less ;-

I pushed a change today to RT, which fixes an issue with pixel shift when using raw auto ca correction and also speeds up this.
In case of interest: Artifacts when using auto ca-correction on pixelshift files by heckflosse · Pull Request #4569 · Beep6581/RawTherapee · GitHub

The changes should be in the next nightly builds
