Pentax K-1 does polo pony action

I have no interest in polo, but those are some excellent action shots. Well framed, great toning, and ... in focus!

Your shots do not depict the AF speed of the k-1. Bicycles are faster than motorcycles and horses. You guys are so unfair.LOL!!!

You are holding the camera in your hand? Tjata not how you track things. Put it on a tripod and aim it stright forward.

Yes, being the fanboy of oldschool approaches that I am, I do not follow Amazon Ph.D. expert's sCiEnTiFiC advice of fixing a camera for sports on a tripod and rely on hoping that something interesting crosses the viewfinder.

The Amazon scientists did show a parked car shot for the Canon 6D. It nailed every shot (of the one). Amazon-scientific conclusion: Canons* nail every shot.

Excellent photos thanks for posting. I would like to ask on the da*300 are you able to shoot full frame? I have the da*200 and it's is compatible for ff.

The DA*300mm is a full-frame design (and patent), and works fine on the K-1 in both APS-C and FF mode.

Yes, all shots shown here were made in normal 36 Mpx FF mode.

I have added a -40 vignette in Lightroom for personal taste. Not the camera nor the lens.

I think monster trucks flying through the air should be a good test of AF-C and tracking.
