I posted this because he kept on posting scaled-down sequences, even after I posted "have you read what I wrote". If he posts nonsense, I felt I could do the same thing.

But apparently he removed his post, so now I look silly.

You can see that there was a post in between those posts of me. If there wasn't, the forum software would have combined the posts.

Can I just point you guys to something? It's a DPR forum comment by the hated guy known as Rishi. Among other things, he says this:

If people are jumping to conclusions and there is no scrutiny around here, what good is this topic to me, or to anyone else for that matter?

I rest my case regarding the earlier post I made about hearing their side of the story.
Rishi's follow up comment said that AF-C was next to useless and it was a simple test that even the worst mirrorless cameras can pass, but the K-1 did dismally on. He said he didn't think the K-1 would be adequate to track kids.

The verbiage in the review has changed quite a bit since first release and so a lot of the more offensive statements have been cleansed from it.

you wrote blah blah blah because he didn't answer but he didn't answer because obviously he was in process posting his shots that show at the least acceptable focus tracking. 100% crops might come later for the nitpickings.

Honestly, I think biz-engineer is just frustrated or something and needs to get it out of his system. Well, good luck with it, showing lots of scaled down images that prove nothing.

No, I wrote, that if you click on the DPR images in the AF test page, then they open up full-res in your browser. Even then, if they are scaled down to your browser window, almost all of them look sharp. That's what I said. Therefore, it's no use for him to post EVEN SMALLER images here. He's not making a point. Well, maybe to you, but certainly not to me.

Also, he responded to me in the middle of it, yet he keeps going on. But he's got the advantage that his posts cover so much space. Mine are just text. I feel like I have to shout to make a point. And it's an unpopular point at that.

Sorry, I don't have infinite amount of time. I already posted more bike test photos than DPR and when I zoom 100%, there is 1 or 0 photos not in perfect focus in a burst. Two issues 1) shutter speed was too low in my tests (around 1/160 or 1/200, insufficient for running bikes) and 2) I can't get the bike close enough because otherwise it is dangerous (I can get hit by the bike). Anyway, in total, I've done 8 bike tests burst, including one at night, and they are all significantly better than what DPR posted.

Yes, many charged words have been replaced and the image sets were changed twice, but those changes aren't credited. That just makes the posters come off as whiny lunatics.

This is a no-win situation that could have been avoided. Or it is clickbait. Shame, really. Otherwise the review is pretty good.

This small piece of text is worth more than ALL of the images you posted.

I sure don't understand these bicycle tests for AF image focusing tests.

I shoot birds in flight traveling over 50mph, and barefoot water skiers going by at 45mph. What's the challenge about shooting a person on a bicycle traveling at 5mph? Just does not seem like much of an AF test to me. I don't get it?
