That's precisely the mess. And they've changed some of the text in the meantime. Originally DPR did not write 50% they wrote in full text "half of the shots". So, now, a number of comments look foolish and when the review was published, the strong reactions from some readers made sense.

Errr.. yeah, this cyclist is moving away from the camera, not towards it. I had the same experience: towards the camera is more problematic than away from it.

Also, at this resolution, focus errors could be obscured very easily. If you click on the DPR AF-C shots they open up in your browser. If you don't view them at 100%, though, they also look sharp. But they aren't.

edit: the same with your other series: scaled down results don't count.

I'll make 100% crops. Also shutter speed issues essentially on moving target; Anyway, all my photos are better focused than DPR photos !!!
