"Improved stability for general performace" means bugfixes; don't expect any major performance enhancement.
Faster AF algorithms would be specifically mentioned (just like for the K-3's v1.02 "Optimized performance of continuous shooting when setting AF.C mode.").

I still had v1 and my 24-70 needed +10 MA. I just updated to 1.2 and now I'm getting sharp shots with the MA at zero!

Good to know, i guess the upgrade is worth it before i do all my AF tuning. Thanks!
