K-1 firmware upgrade

I havn't updgraded yet the firmware of my K1 to 1V2. Have you done it? Did you see any improvement or issues after the upgrade?

Mine's still running 1.1, because that added support for the image transmitter software.

I'll wait to update to 1.2 until the PLM lens arrives

I have upgraded. Didn't notice any issues or changes in performance.

Smooth upgrade process, as they all have been. No problems or noticeable changes here.

The problem with horizon correction on and 12 s timer is still there in 1.20. Do not remember any other issues I might have had...

The biggest relief and the biggest disappointment both stem from, "I installed it and haven't noticed any difference." LOL

I upgraded Thu or Fri last and have not noticed any problems nor improvements, though I was out of my element for a most of the time between then and last night. It should be evident this week whether anything has changed.

I am on my second K1. The first refused to complete the Astrotracer calibration process after the first time. My second K1 is now exhibiting the same issue, although realistically I won't often use it as I have a dedicated tracker. Has anyone experienced problems with the GPS and Astrotracer function?

I have not gotten it to work at all. I finally gave up. I have an iOptron IEQ25 anyway.

It usually takes a number of attempts / iterations until the calibration succeeds. The separate O-GPS unit is no different in that regard.

Here is a video for how to perform the procedure. I use similar movements but perform them more smoothly.

Calibration don't need to be done many times to be successful, but camera rotation must be 180 degree and this is not so easy to achieve.

I'm familiar with the system and calibration. I used AstroTracker often on my K3. The camera either calibrates or it doesn't, it isn't a matter of repetitive attempts and my K1 fails in that respect. I also have the iOptron tracker and it works well.
