Question about bracketing

The K1 appears to do bracketing differently than what I am used to. If I am shooting in manual mode and engage bracketing for three frames, the camera will adjust not just shutter speed, but the aperture. I suppose they want to avoid too low of a shutter speed, but I really want to fix the aperture so I can do exposure blending. Is there a way to do this?

Well, I just found out I need to use AV mode. Works as expected. Just different from my last camera.

Yup, use Av mode to fix the aperture and Tv mode to fix the shutter speed.

You can set it up so that only shutter speed changes when bracketing in M exposure mode. It is done like this:

Menu Button Customization
E-Dial programming
Second tab
M exposure mode, set green button mode to Tv shift
