Hi Mirra, I'd love to see your Lensbaby photos but I don't subscribe to facebook.
Could you load a couple up to this post?
I found out how and hope you see them now, thank you for your interest.

Nice Mirra!!! Was this done with the velvet or one of the other optics?

It was taken with lensbaby composer sweet 50 which I have had for over 5 years but now with my Pentax K-1 it is working so well.

Have wondered how the sweet 50 is - seems very smooth transitions. A little smoother than the sweet 35 it appears.

Resurrecting an inactive thread - I just ordered the Twist 60 in K-mount (not offered through the Lensbaby website, but I emailed them and they're building me one for $199.95 + free shipping). I'll post the results here after I receive the lens.

Think you'll really enjoy the Twist 60, especially if you are working with portraiture. I picked up the optic a few months back.
Since I shoot inanimate subjects I found that fully open the swirl was a little more than my taste but at F4 it has a nice touch.
Also found this thing is a jewel on a short extension of about 25-30mm. Didn't feel it performed as well on a longer extension of 44mm.
1st image normal focal length and fully open, all others on approximately a 25mm tube.

Lovely images! Thanks for posting. I shoot mostly portraits and macro, so the combination you suggested sounds right up my alley!

I have used it on the composer. I can't get a Scout (fixed) mount anymore. It is pretty cool, like a wider slower lower quality Velvet. I enjoy it.

Me too, wish I could find an old scout mount.

Received my Twist 60 in K-mount a couple days ago. I haven't had a chance to put it through its paces yet, but here's my first few shots.

The Lensbaby box, as shot with the Twist 60

Our local amusement park has a nightly snow event, so I had fun trying to capture my husband in the synthetic snow:

Congratulations, looks like you've figured out the swirl effect very well.
The more I work with the Lensbaby system, the more I appreciate.
Tested the Soft Focus optic on K1 the other day for Ultraviolet transmission and it seemed to work very well as an "accidental" lens.

Think I'll have to give the Twist 60 a try and see how it responds.
Have fun with your new lens.
