nothing surprising there: basically the same IQ as the D8** series.

This is exciting, hopefully soon they'll be able to test the FA lenses. DXO site seem to be busy this past week after a lull of almost a month.

Slightly better I think.

If pentax iso went slightly lower say to iso 50 it would be on top.

Yeah, they tested "super raw" for their dxo one camera, but won't do it for pentax and olympus.

That turned out well.
I was expecting(hoping for) Nikon 800 performance and the K-1 actually came out on top. Not by much of course but still, the bragging rights are there.
Even beating the 810 on every iso except the iso 64 setting which were the only setting that could compete with the K-1. I like it.

People should post responses on Dxomark to the effect: thanks for an objective, informative review and politely ask for lens tests.

DXO Mark? Aren't they the ones who reviewed the 645Z and then never published it? Did it ever go up? Anone know?

I just wonder. They write:
"The new Pentax high score puts the K-1 in fifth place for all sensors we’ve tested and an impressive third place podium position for full-frame interchangeable lens cameras."
But when You look at the camera database, K-1 is in the fourth place.
I think the 645Z is on top, but they have not published it's results.

Nothing really surprising on the test. The K-1 is capable of excellent image quality. Better than anything Canon makes. The K-1 is a much better value than the A7rII or the Nikon D810. With Pixel Shift is beats both of them in every way. Without Pixel Shift it is just as good as either of them.

Hopefully DxO Pro Optic releases support for the K-1 with PS. If DxO would add more local editing options and brushes it would be my editor of choice.

I remember 645Z got a score of 104 or some such. Dunno why it is not there.

This is surprising: The Pentax boycott is off!

OK, 101 it is. Anyway it crossed some kind of magical barrier which I thought to be the upper limit for a long time.
