K1 price increase

Has anyone else noticed that the price of the K-1 has gone up from £1599 to £1799 on srsmicrosystems? Has there been any word from Ricoh about this? I'm glad I picked mine up when I did!!

It is probably a price adjustment due to currency (UK Pound vs Japanese Yen) because of Brexit...

You can still order for £1599 from Mifsuds, although they don't currently have stock

the odd thing is (on srs) that the lenses haven't changed in price - the 70-200 has actually gone don by £200 - and that's down as 'awaiting stock' so they're not just getting through old stock - that makes it look more like a manufacturer price increase for the K-1 (or manufacturer price drop for the lens)

So who is surprised by this Brexit consequence ? Noboby, I assume. At least the price in the UK of second hand gear should increase so selling unwanted equipment will offset these rises a little.

obviously selling well -- supply and demand drive the price of things.
