I don't know, but there isn't much to it anyhow.
The V6II has an auto-detect mode so if you put it on a Pentax, it will automatically set the flash system to "Pentax". With an RF60 as an off-camera flash, you can first away immediately, with other flashes you may have to select their profile on the V6II receiver first. However most flashes will be auto-detected by a V6II receiver, so normally it should just be "plug and play".
Only when you start using strobes, or flashes with proprietary triggering systems that are not directly supported by the V6II, it gets more involved. There are a couple of not too complicated workarounds for such situations, but as I said for supported flashes using HSS is really simple.
Originally posted by jake14mw I notice on the Cactus site that for the V6 is lists the Nikon SB-28 as supported, but for the V6 ii it does not. Is that correct?
Yes, that's correct.
The SB-28 only supports analogue TTL. The V6 supports analogue TTL but the V6II does not.
Cactus said they will release a firmware updated for the V6 in October that will make the V6 compatible with the V6II. You'll then be able to fire an SB-28 sitting on a V6 by using a V6II transmitter. However, HSS will not be supported in this configuration. Only normal shooting and PowerSync.
