Locking Down Settings on the K-1

I just got back from a portrait session, and was struggling a little with settings changing on me. I was in manual mode, plugging away, and it seems like when I was absorbed in the photo shoot, I must have inadvertently touched the aperture or shutter speed. This seemed to happen a multitude of times. Unfortunately, not realizing it until after I took several shots, it was a real pain in the butt. Is there any way to dial in and lock-out the settings so they will not change so easily when setting consistency is an absolute necessary?

I find that when I am holding a new camera I always have my fingers in the wrong place and press buttons I don't mean to. As you get used to the body I am sure this will happen less.

My major beef with these cameras has always been how easy it is to accidentally spin one of the control wheels while shooting in manual mode when you want to lock down the shutter speed and aperture value. The control lock is an answer to what I have always seen as a significant design flaw.
