Hei, fellow Norwegian.
I checked the
DXO mark measurements and it looks like it may suffer a bit from low sharpness outside the APS-C crop area, as it already suffers from that at APS-C corners between 15-20mm. It also looks like it suffers quite a bit from CA, actually over a large part of the APS-C field and it looks like CA is an increasing problem towards the corners. Its fair to extrapolate that CA will be a problem outside APS-C crop too. CA may be reduced in post processing to some extent.
I have never been a fan of that lens and did some other choices myself. I do have a plan to use the Sigma 18-35mm f/1,8 on K-1. Its an APS-C lens but the image circle are larger then APS-C on all focal lengths. At 30-35mm its large enough to cover the entire FF sensor. I will use this in FF mode and crop manually to a suitable crop factor and aspect ratio.
I have had a Sigma 10-20 and a Tamron 10-24 but I found out that I prefer primes in the very wide end. So when I upgrade to K-1 I consider ether to keep my current Samyang 8mm f/3,5 (and use it in crop mode) or sell it and buy a Samyang 12mm f/2,8 in stead. I don't mind the lack of zooming action or autofocus for ultra wide angles. I don't think I need anything in between 12mm and the Sigma 18-35mm @ 30mm.
