EXIF will say 35mm if you set the SR to 35mm when you turned the camera on !!

That's what probably happened. I somehow forgot to change it to 28mm when I turned the camera on. They say the mind is the first thing to go.

The Candle Table
K-1 mII Ltd Silver, K135f3.5

Taken thru a shop (?) window. I'd have liked to get that white streak in the background out of there, but alas there were too many obstructions in front when I framed the image thru other windows.

This morning I picked up a Tokina AT-X 3.5-4.5/20-35 from customs. I bought that lens in great condition from an ebay seller in Japan.
After work I could take a few test shots at the railway station near my office. Feel free to click for a larger version.

Impressive color for what I'm assuming is a non-SMC coated lens.

Here's one with the K 35/3.5:

If it's bayonet mount it's always multicoated.
By the way, your 35mm is regarded as a great lens.
I don't own one, but I tried the shorter sister, the 3.5/28mm... it's really as good as people say
