Great pic showcasing the power of the seas!
Thanks. The seas hit that jetty with enough force to kill a man. Another M 135/3.5 shot:

Rum Balls

Jupiter bokeh balls.

Rum balls bokeh.

Frosty and his boys performing their latest number, Rum Balls.

Frosty and the Reindeer, performing yet again for Christmas. Get their latest hit, Rum Balls, on iTunes. Two shows daily until Christmas Eve.

SOLD OUT

Rum Balls
2.5 cups 'Nilla Wafers, chopped.
1 cup chopped pecans.
1 cup chopped walnuts.
1 cup confectioner's sugar.
3 (maybe 4) tablespoons baking cocoa.
4 tablespoons raw honey.
1/4 cup (OK, 1/2 cup!) of Meyer's Dark rum, better add another half cup of chopped 'Nilla Wafers)

Mix dry ingredients in a suitable sized bowl. Blend well.

Make a depression in the dry mixture, add honey, followed by rum. Use a potato masher (not the kind the Germans used!) to blend dry and liquid ingredients.

When well mixed, let rest, have a hot buttered rum and prepare for the balling.

When the cup of Christmas cheer is empty, lay out wax paper, and begin rolling mixture into bite sized balls. I prefer to roll them all out first, then go back and roll them in crushed pecans or walnuts, crushed 'Nilla wafers, crushed candy cane, powdered sugar or cocoa powder.

Go wild.

Experiment.

Try bacon bits.

Most of all, enjoy.

Merry Christmas 2019!

Pentax K-1, Jupiter 9 85mm f2.0., wide open.

Pentax SMC K 50mm f1.2 all photos @f1.2 without post processing

This lens is new to me. I also have FA 50mm f1.4, Helios 44M-4 and SMC-M 50mm f1.7. By reading reviews on it, I expected that this lens is not good at f1.2 but I took my chances trusting my eyes and focusing skills. Oh boy, what a surprise. The lens is extremely sharp at f1.2 at K-1. Didn't try it on K-5 II. Most reviewers tried theirs on APS-C. On FF it must be totally different beast. I dialed mine at -10 focus adjustment. Even in OVF I can get correct focus now. In Live View it is easy with focus peaking. That's the feature earlier reviewers didn't have. However, on the bokeh side, I'm little disappointed, only little bit. Of course Samyang 85mm f1.4 destroys this lens in bokeh cream. It's no where near as funky as Helios. It's too similar to FA 50mm f1.4 I'm already used to. But this lens blows FA 50mm out of the water even at f1.2 in every aspect. It's a demon lens.

Terrific view and image of the bridge. Motivated me to drag out the M 135 for a shoot.

Beautiful Georgian Dublin

The absolutely beautiful wide, Mount Street Upper, just off Merrion Square with The Peppercanister Church (St Stephen's Church) at the end.

Thanks for sharing,
Thanks for commenting on my image. Hope you had a productive time with you M 135. I must admit that the M 135 is hardly my favorite among my vintage glass. But its eight aperture blades came in useful for that bridge shot.

Here's a shot of Humboldt Bay with one my favorite vintage lenses, the M 20/4:
