Nice shot. Simple but beautiful.
Which Takumar is it?
I have the Auto Takumar 1.8/85mm, it's one of the best lenses I ever tried.
It is sharp enough and I love its mellow rendering.

It's the Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 85mm f/1.8 M42 Screw Type: (1972-1976 Version)

It's my favorite old Takumar lens and I use it all the time; the sharpness and color rendition is quite awesome.

Yours is a great lens, I'd love to have the Smc Pentax version with bayonet mount!
Mine was released 12 years earlier, and has a simpler optical design (5 elements vs 6), very similar to the f/1.9 version.
I believe that both lenses should be highly regarded. Their character is slightly different, but both are very desirable.
It is absolutely amazing to see that optics released respectively 58 and 46 years ago are still so good, both mechanically and optically.

I have the Auto-Tak and the K85/1.8. They’re both sublime lenses, but frankly the Auto-Tak has a dreamy rendering under certain natural light that is unique among the lenses I own.

Yes, it's a very special lens.
I find it beautiful too

Here is another picture shot with a vintage lens.
Passiflora flowers.
I understand why this Soligor is reputed to be at the same level, if not better, as the Vivitar Series 1 1.9/28mm.
In reality I believe they are actually the same
Have a look at the sharpness of the flower on the left. It's wide open and at minimum focusing distance.
The bokeh is not spectacular, but I guess it can't be asked more from a retrofocus objective of the early seventies.

Soligor (Tokina) C/D P 2/28mm @ f/2 MFD

I also have a SMC Pentax-M 85mm f/2 but seldom use it because the color fringing is so notorious at wide apertures. Some images are so bad even lightroom couldn't clean up all the fringing!
Stopped down it's not so bad but I like to shoot using the wider apertures most of the time. I very seldom ever have any fringing/CA with the older Takumar 85mm.

Old landmark near my village.

K1 with SMC M 3.5/135. First time I've used this lens today on the K1. I am excited and surprised by the result!

The K-1 really enhances a lot of old lenses!
