Post your K-1 pics with vintage glasses

After i've seen a very nice picture taken with a K-1 and a Pentax-M f3,5 28mm, posted on the PixelShift pictures thread, i realized that my interest for vintage glasses (and how they mate with the FF sensor of the K-1) could be shared by many other forum users.
Maybe i'm dissident by nature, maybe i just love too much my vintage optics. Whatever it is, don't share the opinion of those who seem to imply that the only lenses that really match the camera are the Pentax-D FA or other new very expensive glasses.
Absolute sharpness isn't everything, some old lenses have a "character" that most new AF lenses don't have.
BTW, many old lenses still deliver plenty of sharpness, if used at their optimal apertures.

I'm not asking to limit the posts to MF lenses.
I'm more interested in the old Pentax K and M lines of lenses (plus the Takumars), and of course in any third party in PK and M42 mount, but i think that anybody should feel free to post pictures taken with any film era lens.

I'm starting with a couple of photos i've just taken.
Revuenon (Tokmioka project; Tomioka or Cosina made) f/1,2 55mm PK
All wide open.
Location Chiang Mai, Thailand

The photos are nothing special, i just tried to test this super fast normal from the late seventies/early eighties with my brand new K-1, choosing the kind of subjects that could evidence the sweet optical signature of this lens.
A little quick & dirty post processing, one or two are slightly cropped.
Not much joy for pixel peepers cause i forgot to set back the ISO to a more convenient level after taking some pictures in internals. Sorry

Cheers

Paolo

I rank the Auto-Tak 55 2.2 right up there with the FA ltds for wide open sharpness, contrast, color, and bokeh. Even better in some ways. I don't have any K or M lenses, but am a big fan of the super and especially auto taks.

Great detail, very nice bokeh!
I looked at the small insect at 100%, it's razor sharp!
A great example of how well the K-1 works with some good old lenses.
Not bad for a single-coated optic made in 1961

Here is another pic shot with the Revuenon 55mm wide open.
I don't have the original raw anymore, just this jpg, cause the SD became unreadable after playing with the Image Transfer Lightroom plugin.
I erased the raw permanently, and then i found that the SD was unreadable, and had to be reformatted
The focus is off, but this group portrait shows how well the lens renders the OOF areas, and how it makes the candle flames glow.
A pity i had no hood, it shows at the extreme left, my bad!

I want to see this photo as a sign of peace and understanding between different people.

Four former colleagues at Chiang Mai University, Thailand.
One is american, one austrian, one cambodian, one shan (burmese).

There's actually a lens club here catered for Pentax/K-mount lenses on FF.

Pentax Lenses on FF Club - PentaxForums.com

The net is cast a bit wider though to included any other FF camera, so long as it showcases a K-mount lens.
Something to address the Pentax diaspora during the dry years before the K1.

Raynox Polaris f/1,8 135mm + Steinheil Auto-Cassaron f/2,8 50mm

Some shots with a very old lens, a fast screw mount 135mm.
It's the oldest fast 135mm prime i own, a Raynox Polaris f/1,8 (made by Yoshida Industries, maker of the well known Raynox macro achromats)

Nothing very artsy, but enough to show how an old fast telephoto, used wide open, can show good sharpness and an amazing bokeh... if you nail the correct focus

---------- Post added 16-03-17 at 11:19 PM ----------

Some more night shots in Bologna, Italy.
I used an very old single coated 50mm triplet:
Steinheil Auto-Cassaron f/2,8 50mm

See how some flare can be made to good use.
Great bokeh and nice vintage flare

This is with a Polar (Samyang) 18-28mm lens that I purchased in the duty free shop of Kimpo airport in South Korea in 1992 or so. It was all of $120. The whole front element group wobbles but it has been a surprisingly good performer on my film cameras. Gave it a go on my K1 last summer. Not all that bad. This is at 18mm. That is Mrs. gaweidert knitting some of her hand spun wool. Right now she is setting up a loom to weave a woolen blanket. She will weave it folded in half and then open it up when she takes it off the loom. Pretty neat thing to see.

Another shot with a very, very old lens, a Trioplan F/2.9 50mm, originally in Altix mount (i converted it myself to M42/PK).
It shows that the sharpness, at least wide open, is everything but stellar... but the rendition is very "vintage", good for portraits and bubble bokeh OOF highlights.

Another low light picture, shot with a Pentax-K f/1.2 50mm wide open:

Other pics with K-1 plus vintage lenses were posted on these two threads:
