K 1 Back Button Foucs

Hello Friends,

I have a question for the people that use back button focus. In my experience I use the back button focus and then release the shutter and the camera refocuses anyhow. Is there any setting to stop this, with out half pressing the shutter button?

not familiar with the K1 but can you disable shutter focus in the custom menu?

Hi Jim.

Menu 5 other settings; select AF2 which disables shutter button focus; similar features on other Pentaxes back to the K-7 I believe.

Menu camera-5, customizing buttons, AF Button - Enable AF2 ... disables af function of half press.
