I can not seem to get the 4 way pad to work in regular mode when I go to live view and press one of them the options come up. Any ideas

in K3 i click the small 1 to 2 button and i can choose my focus point... Or change AF mode ?

No the button lock is not locked just checked. It works fine in live view

I got it to work. I took the batteries out of the camera and put them back in and it started working weird

Press the small button above the 4 way pad. This is the button to switch card when in play mode
