Firmware 1.4 vs 1.3: Impact on AF performance

As mentioned in my first post there's some really good updates in 1.4 that are worth having. But if you're still not convinced just load v1.3 set up the camera with any lens adjustments. After that load v1.4. If there's any changes to AF lens adjustments do some changers like that poster did and you should be good to go. Don't like it? Roll back by loading v1.3 and crack on. You've bought the camera so as long as you're happy with it, that's the main thing.

@k1man: You can update fw anytime, no problem downgrade firmware from 1.40 to 1.30 for example. But when you will not have any problem with the firmware 1.40, let you always get the latest :-)

I had one month
fw1.40 and with Pentax FA77/1,8 Limited I did occasionally front focus (I do not know why)

Of course every time after update I reset all settings and again to set everything including AF Microadjust. I am waiting for next firmware (1.50?) because I like bulb enhancements in fw1.40 for landscapes

Well, I initiated the thread and I am happy with the response. In other words I am happy for the thread to be closed.

However, there is the usual slight tangent to it regards posts asking on how to install firmware (so that may be of use to some people).

1.4 focusing is faster I found. Also SD Card write speeds are tad bit improved and the previews are faster too. Also with the updated phone app the wifi connectivity is tad bit faster.
