Can anyone share images taken with Samyang/Rokinon 85 1.4?

Trying to understand how the lens performs on ff/36mp. I bought the lens for my Oly EM1 few years back, was ok with the 2x crop, but I think it's a bit better on FF?
If possible, send flickr links where I can pixel peep to my desire

Thanks

Hi. Yes its a pretty useful lens on the K-1.
I don't have any full size K-1 / 85mm photos uploaded at moment (I think they are 50%) but will give you some idea:

Thanks for those. Seems sharper than wide open on mft for sure. I'm wondering how difficult it is to focus manually for portraits? Em1 had peaking in evf, so was much easier. I find it difficult sometimes to focus my 50 1.4 via ovf

Yes its pretty good for sharpness. Its peak sharpness stopped down to say f5.6 is not quite as good as say my FA35 but still very respectable. On the other hand its sharpness wide open is very competitive and contrast is also good.

Manual focus is always tricky with these lenses due to the narrow DOF. However I will say that I find it a bit easier to focus through the viewfinder on the K-1 than I did on the K-5 - never the less there is a bit of trial and error sometimes. Also focus peaking in LV can be helpful too.

Focus peaking is super helpful for this lens on K-1 if you can afford to hand hold camera like p&s. It takes some practice. I mostly shoot static portraits on f1.4. Mine is calibrated to -10 in the camera and once you do that focus trap is also efective, then you use optical vf. Bokeh is creamy...

Photos from Rokinon 85mm f 1.4 and Pentax K-1.

Here are a few photos not retouched including portraiture, flowers, and landscape. All are handheld in evening light, say about 30 minutes prior to sunset. Hope you find these helpful.

You should also look at additional pics with the Samyang 85 on the Nikon D810 and Sony A7R - they will give an excellent idea of what the same scene would look like taken with a K-1.

Thanks guys, good examples. Lens seems to perform great on full frame, I might pick it up, especially if I find one used. DFA 85 1.4 seems like a utopian dream at this point, and I will likely only have budget for one of the DFA primes whenever they come out(
