I bought it..but I have the feeling this is not a big upgrade to ImageSync, right ?
I was looking for possibility to shoot with self timer, as I think one of my main reason to use this remote app is when I shoot landscape or products, ie with the camera on a tripod.

But Im glad to help someone developing an app for Pentax stuff.

Hi,

not sure this has been requested before so here I go:

would you consider including a bulb ramp functionality in the app? I shoot timelapses and the bulb ramp feature is mandatory to shoot day to night and night to day transitions. I now manually adjust the settings using your app, so it would be extremely cool to have an automatic functionality added in that could allow to program an ramping of the parameters over a long period of time. That would make the process easier and smoother.
Oh, and while I'm at it, it would also be cool to have an intervalometer added, so that the ramping and the shooting could be synced...(just thinking out loud...).

How about longer exposure times in Bulb mode? Currently just 30s are available in each program.
And what about offering an overlay when viewing photos on the SD which shows the active focus point(s) used? Would be an great feature

So, I tried the app with KP. It sees the photos and download them, but what I did miss:
1. Geotagging mentioned, but I did not find anything about that - even if I tried downloading with GPS on in phone, nothing happened.

2. Screen zoom on Remote mode Live View: I really would like to zoom my image to see if I focused correctly. I did not find how to do that. This is especially important if I want to do astroshots (btw, does it support astrotracer shooting mode?)

3. The information details in last page were all empty - no camera, no battery or other information listed, even if the details provided correct on the phot.

Additional Details: I am using it on Android, KP firmware upgraded to latest.

Personally, I only used image sync for remote control of the camera, as I got used to USB image transfer due to

slow speed and undependability of the app. Look forward to trying your app (when camera control is added) though.

I tried using the "google play" version of image sync with a K70 and Samsung Galaxy S7. Whilst the phone could see the K70 it refused any attempts to connect to the camera telling me to check the ssid and password and also to check the camera settings!. Stumbled across this thread and installed your version of of image sync and now I'm very happy. phone and camera linked, can use the remote function to view or shoot.

Phone: Samsung Galaxy S7
Android V8.0.0
Camera Pentax K70 Firmware V 1.11
