Any word on how K-1 Silver is selling?

I posted this elsewhere but if anyone is interested the Ricoh US site has a few. I had been led to believe there were no more available in the US but this showed up. I ordered one which is on the way, scheduled for delivery on Thursday. Shipped from Doraville, Georgia.

srs in the Uk have stopped showing it on their site - they've had £350 off it and the black one as a Christmas deal for a couple of weeks, so I guess that cleared out the few remainers. I'd guess they got the bulk of he 60 that came to these shores

I love my silver K-1. People keep asking me about my "vintage' camera--yah, makes me feel artsy. Takes me back to that first 35mm film Pentax--I'm sure that was the point, Ricoh knows Pentaxians are old timers and all that. But now I'm too broke to afford a 24-70 which is on the short list. If only they would make an 85mm 1.4 in silver, my kit would be perfect.

Well, the classic FA*85 1.4 is silver! It would look great on a silver K-1. Of course it is selling for almost as much as a new dfa 24-70

I would guess that a new 85/1.4 will be about as much as the 24-70...and might not be silver.
