Just remember that "tienda" means "shop" in Spanish... to me that alone gives an indication wether I should trust that source! XD
I was thinking tienda was a form of the word that means 'take' but I wasn't sure...

Speaking of that how is it possible that we have no product photo for this lens?
Ha ha - I was thinking that just the other day as I read through reviews as I had my eye on a copy for sale at a good price locally. I was planning to add one but alas, it's slipped through my fingers and someone else has bought it.

"to take" se dice "tomar" en español
"tienda" puede ser también la "tienda de acampar" ("camping tent"), pero no las "cortinas" ("curtains")
En esta situación, yo creo que es el sinónimo de negocio (es el significado más común)

Lensbeginner is correct. In this case 'tienda' means 'shop' or 'store'

I uploaded a couple pictures of my copy of the 17-35 to my misc pictures album.
If either of those would work, feel free to use them.

Hola! To cover a FF image sensor, 1mm wider focal length and half a stop faster aperture, that lens weighs more and is longer than a DA 18-135 in spite of having only 15% of the zoom range. And it comes with a 77mm filter thread compared to 62mm for the DA 18-135.

17mm on FF is no small feat! Can't comment on the image quality of the Tamron, but it roughly corresponds to the DA 12-24mm on APS-C.

Very odd.

I never shoot PEF files -- mainly because DNG files work from a camera's release time, while PEF files are often delayed. But I've never found a big difference in them with regard to dynamic range or performance. At the same time, Pentaxeros is a big Pentax affiliate and not prone to making false statements.

Does anyone know the general time it takes Adobe to add support for a new Pentax camera?

Since I did get the Mark II, wondering how long it will be before .pef is supported. Any experiences with other cameras?

I was wondering the same thing. Google searches thus far have failed however.

I'm not used to shooting DNG although I can't imagine it makes THAT much of a difference. I have noticed that Lightroom "Auto" is blowing out the greens for my new K-1ii DNGs. Has anyone else seen this?

It could be possible to alter the EXIF data to make the files appear as K-1 MK1 files to Lightroom. This way it was possible to open Sony A7R3 files as R2 files in LR before Adobe support. Case is very same here - same sensor and data format.

Someone should message the guy who does Huelight camera profiles and see if he can make one for the K-1 II. I have been really pleased with those for past Pentax cameras -- better than Adobe's versions.

That is an interesting idea. The field is editable in the EXIF. Now to find a K-1II PEF to try it out on.

What is the right tool for that? EXIFtool? I will go take some long exposures in DNG and PEF, let's see what happens.
