I do wish they'd be more flexible about allowing use of images with say generic DNGs.
Would be there was such a thing.

I just verified this through Dx0 support; no DxO Pixel Shift support exists.

So even though my copy of Photolab opens Pixelshifted Raw files from my K3ii, it does nothing with them; there is no Pixel Shift processing done. The only thing I can guess is that they only look at the RAW file as if it were a single image raw and ignore the other data in the three other images.

Now that I know this I guess I will be pulling them into DCU or RT before I manipulate the extracted TIFF with Dx0.....

Yes, most products process the first image they find.

While waiting for DxO official support (if that ever becomes available) you can apply this workaround (tested):
Download exiftool: ExifTool by Phil Harvey
Copy your RAW files to a new folder. Apply this command to update camera model value in EXIF of all RAW files in that folder:
exiftool -Model="Pentax K-1" -overwrite_original "<your path here>\*.DNG".
Now DxO PhotoLab will see them as K-1 files and will let you open.

It is always frustrating that they are so slow with updating for new cameras. It is especially annoying when the lenses and most of the camera is the same as the K-1. Maybe there is more going on with the accelerator than we realized.

Certainly good news about the K-1ii. But yeah, they're slow. And while I dunno about the accelerator, I doubt it would matter. I had extensive discussions with them about a similar i to ii upgrade with an Oly, and with an even smaller "change" that involved just a name change for a kit lens vs non-kit. They just don't do anything without testing, and it's frustrating, since many of us would prefer to use DxO even if they didn't have all the lens-body adjustments down pat. But they didn't seem to care; maybe they see that as their distinguishing feature among so many similar competitors.

I didn’t see this post and posted a separate thread earlier today after checking for an update to support the K-1 II. I saw the 10/18 date as well. Can’t wait. Have lots of files to process.

BTW, the DxO software (not Nik) is on sale right now, for 20%+ off.
