Do k-1 mkii raw files open with no problems in LR6?

Anyone out there using the K-1 mk ii with LR6 as their developer? Just wanted to check before upgrading whether the dng and pef files open without a problem and without any need for conversion.

LR handles the DNG files, but the PEF files are not recognized. Also there are no profiles available for the K1 Mark II at this time. If you are satisfied to work with the LR defaults then no problem.

"Defaults" meaning the "embedded" profile provided by Ricoh for the K-1II as part of the DNG file. Like most makers that support in-camera DNG, Ricoh provides a fall-back, camera-specific, profile to provide a basic color matrix tables for use by LR and ACR. As a result K-1II DNG may be opened by Lightroom versions going back several years.

As others have said DNGs can be opened. AFAIK even the latest version of ACR can't yet handle K-1 II PEFs, then again there's no real reason to go for PEF over DNG.
