X 2. So far, I just have the 28-105...a very good lens BTW.

I drive an Opel designed GM Epsilon ll platform LWB (new Impala) and an '07 Buick LaCrosse. Also have motorcycles...a '67 Matchless G 15 CS Scrambler and a '78 Yamaha SR 500. No Lexus though.

15-30 (experienced), 24-70 and 70-200 (Christmas / New Year deals). 2010 Skoda Octavia TDi ( re-badged VW Golf) with 138k miles on it. Suspect any one lens is worth more than the car, and that's just fiiiiine with me!

Then there is the other rebadged VW...a Bugatti .

When I was a young man...17 - 20 years old I had two .....actual VW's...they were the real McCoy. A '61 1200cc Type 1 Beetle and later a '69 VW 1500cc Beetle...which I drag raced on occasion...at a sanctioned track. Both great little cars for their time and back when I was relatively impoverished.

I own the 15-30, 24-70, and 70-200 (and two of the FA limiteds and the DFA 100). I drive a ten year old GMC Canyon Pickup Truck.

28-105, 24-70 and 70-200 + FA*300/4.5 (cold, dead hands etc). I can’t decide which of the medium zooms is superfluous.

2012 Accord; New * lenses are 6 car payments each.

Nor can I. That's why I'm keeping both

i've used the 24-70mm extensively. i have a love-hate relationship with this lens.
i dont really have any interest with other lenses to be honest. the 15-30 is a touch too big, and too expensive. for something that large, not being able to place reasonable filters kind of defeats the purpose of that lens. plus, my 14mm 2.8 keeps me covered around that range.

the 70-200 i'm sure is a great lens. however, i have a tammy in the same range, and its a little lighter, so it does the job for me. i'm sure the pentax is better as its newer and modern tech. but the weight kind of kills it for me.

i would love to travel with the 70-200 as i'm always using it at 200mm for portraits and the results are always magic. but the weight and heft just kills it for me.

the issue i have with the 24-70 is its weight and size. traveling with that is a pain. but the images i get back from it are great. so i'm not sure how i feel about it.

i was looking into selling the 24-70 and getting the 28-105 to use as traveling. but seeing as how i just got a new job that will prevent me from taking 2-3 months off to travel...i may hold onto the 24-70 for the time being. i could sell the 70-200 tamron and get a pentax da200 2.8 as it is smaller, lighter, WR, and i can easily travel with that.

once i travel, i'll prolly just carry the 28-105 with me, and prime my self with everything else.

and the weight is so heavy that my go-to bagpack, the lowepro 450 is starting to rip. breaks my heart as i love that bag. but now i get to explore other options

the car i drive is a Mini Cooper... i may make a video on it soon. looking into getting into video and need a subject to shoot

I have the 24-70, 70-200 and 150-450 and I have no desire for the 15-30. I just don't shoot that wide very often and when I do it's usually my Sigma15mm DG fish-eye or my VL 20mm Color Skopar and both combined weigh a lot less and take up far less room in my bag than the 15-30.

Oh yes, I drive a SSV Holden ute, 6.2 litres of sexy 6 speed manual V8 goodness.

I don't own any of them, nor even a K-1 to mount them on

I am interested in two large aperture primes if not all upcoming primes. Zoomwise 24-70 & 70-200 made sense so far. 15-30 and 150-450 I have tested any may add at some point.

Perhaps, due to recent developments in this thread, I should mention that I drive a 2006 Renault Scenic. 12 years ago I had 3 rapidly growing children and the versatile space was useful - now they keep leaving home

I don’t have any of them, and I’m only contemplating the 150-450 for its convenience and because I read that it’s a fast-focussing long zoom, even though I’ve several lenses that cover its range.

Having bought the three FA Limiteds, an FA20/2.8, an FA50/2.8 Macro, a D-FA100/2.8 Macro plus an FA*24/2, an FA*28-70, an FA*80-200 and an F*300/4.5 I figured I was well setup for the K-1, before it arrived. I recently added an Irix 15/2.4, because I decided I didn’t need the weight or expense of the D-FA15-30/2.8.

Maybe I’ll consider the D-FA 28-105/2.8 as a touring lens to replace an old Tamron 28-200, even though it doesn’t have the same range, but not just yet.

PS: they all fit in my DS3 D-Sport, very nicely.

DFA 28-105 only. The others are all way too big. What I would like is a (relatively) compact tele zoom. Had the 150-450 been a 100-400 and max 1.5 kg it would be very, very tempting.

And we decided we don't need a car anymore, so there's plenty of funds for lenses - if I find some I want

The only new FF Pentax lenses I have are the D FA 15-450 and the D FA 28-105. Both excellent lenses. No desire for the 15-30 or 24-70 lenses. My Tamron 70-200 F 2.8 is an excellent lens too and I simply can't see myself getting the D FA version for twice the price or more.

I am currently still paying for my k1-II so no new lenses in the immediate future. My last two lens purchases have been the Rokinon 20mm f1.8 and the Rokinon 100m f2.8 macro. I got them both on sale when the prices were just too good to pass up. I am very happy with both lenses.

No plans whatsoever for the new D FA 50mm f1.4. I imagine that the price will be more than I would be willing to pay. Besides I just piloted a boat for the first time ever this past Tuesday. My son's Bayliner deck boat. Now I have boat buying addiction. I asked my wife if she would be willing to postpone her retirement for two years to buy one for me and for some reason she said "NO!!!!!!!!!!!!"
