Gallery from the Auto-9 Point AF-C Running Dog Report

Yeah not every in focus image makes it to a gallery, that could get very boring very quickly, however here is a selection of 17 finished photos, all perfectly focused IIRC. Sometimes I let a less perfect photo in as it captures a moment.

The first photo was taken with the Rokinon 135mm F2.0 @ F2.0 as the dog was trotting towards me and with ISO6400, gotta love CIF on moving subjects! EDIT ADD: The rest were taken with the Sigma 100-300mm F4.0 EX DG

Bandit Runs At The Dog Park #2

Pick a favourite if you wish and post it in your response.

Do enjoy!

Was the action photos also done with the Rokinon MF? Or with your Pentax 70-210?

They were done with my Sigma 100-300mm F4.0 EX DG in APS-C mode for crop and burst speed, sorry I didn't make that clear in this thread but its in all the reports

Just to be clear the first photo was the only one taken with the Rokinon 135mm F2.0 @ F2.0, the rest were with the Sigma 100-300mm F4.0 EX DG at F4.0, I've edited the original post to reflect that now.

Thanks BTW!

I think Adam should include "Bandit runs" in all the lens/camera tests from now on.

Your dog has star quality .... or at least a lot of energy!

It sure would be great to have such a dog for testing, however as they grow older (and maybe smarter) they tend not to want to run as often. Maybe the testing could be done at a dog park with the request to an owner to shoot their dog running.
