Very nice pictures! How much of the sensor does it cover?
It covers the whole sensor! If I haven't said that the picture is cropped, it's showing how it covers the full sensor, like the one below. Many thanks for your nice comments!

Maybe reversed will work on a mirrorless body with shorter registration distances.
Maybe, if I get the K-01 I could try, or another brand...

The photo of the camera and lens makes me think of that episode of Seinfeld where George Costanza was heard yelling, "I just got out of the pool! It's shrinkage!"

Yes, I remeber that one too, but as always: it's not the size that matters! At the moment I'm struggling to uplod more photos, but as soon as I have solved the problem, I'll show you more!

Such a funny moment and yes that lens looks like it shrank on that camera.

Infinity is possible with the Pentax 110 70 mm lens attached on the K-1 reversed: You need an distance ring of ca. 30 mm (the Helicoid extension tube works fine).
The 70 mm lens covers reversed full frame at infinity, but only a small part of the center is sharp.

It's pretty astounding, when you think about it...

Thanks a lot for an intresting advice. I've tried it now with the same extension tube as you mention, but i didn't mange to get it sharp, even not in the center. Did i do anything wrong?

K-1 with PENTAX-110 1:2.8 70MM

I'll try to upload a new example. ISO 100 f2.8, 1/640, handheld, cropped and adjusted a bit in Elements 10.

I would guess when closer to the sensor and infinity is possible that it will no longer cover the whole sensor?

I don't know, it's a 70mm lens on full frame, so on 110-film it's a tele lens. The same on Q, on the first Q versions it is about the same as 375 on a fullframe camera (35 mm film).

I think the main problem is the distance to the sensor.

Do you have any shots like this? I have never known a reversed lens to focus at infinity. Unless you mean the infinity mark on the lens not actual infinity.

I was also surprised, but it works!

Three shots - all taken with the K1 and the attached 70 mm.

No. 4:K1 with the attached 70 mm
