Image Sync for Android not working after last update

I cannot install the official app for remote control and image transfer on my Android phone. Apparently my phone is no longer "compatible" with the updated/last version of this app (now is 2.0.0). Ricoh has realized that the last version is faulty, indeed. "We have found the symptom which some devices are not able to install ver. 2.0.0. Revised version will be released at an early date. We apologize for any inconvenience caused this time, and appreciate your patience."

I used to have no prob with the previous versions. Unfortunately, I did not make any backup copy. I am searching an older version but can't find it anywhere, all sites link to 2.0.0 in the Play Store.

Anyone has a copy willing to share??

I have Version 2.0.0 installed on my LG G6 and it works perfectly with my K1 as far as I can see. Sorry, can't help.

Running Android 8.0.0.

It doesn't work under Android Pie

Well I can't help you with that as I can install and run version 2 on my Google Pixel.
However I can no longer get it to connect to my K-1. Have tried reseting Wifi settings etc but no go. When I get time I will have to google it and see how people have managed to get it to work.

I finally got the updated app to work! For reference, I have a galaxy s9 w/android oreo. It worked when I went into wifi settings and connected to my k-1 prior to going into the app. Previously, I always connected in the app if it didn't automatically connect to the camera when it was launched. Hope this helps someone.

I should add that I have tested the updated version in my tablet (Nexus 7 2013) and it works just fine.
My phone (branded Xiaomi and running Android 8.1) is not compatible. I have side loaded the app, though, but it won't ever connect and it's completely useless. Oh well..

It does not connect to my KP on Nexus 5X (Andriod 8.1) I wrote an e-mail to the "contact developper" address. They did not replyed to me.

You just have to install the apk file, no need for google play store.

Nope. Thats what I did in the first place, after downloading the apk with another device (compatible). Didnt work, though.

ImageSync 2.0.1 is still not working at Adroid Pie (9.0) - tested on two different Devices.

No chance to transfer the pictures to phone via W-Lan - it´s totally worthless for me on the go

I have the same phone and the 2.0.1 app has been working fine with Android 8.0.

Just updated to Android 9.0 so I will test this evening...

Yes, this app is since the update to version 2.0. my solution for the imagetransfer to the smartphone.
Remotecontrol via smartphone is not possible with this alternative app.
Today, i´ve tried to install the 1.1.7 APK form APK-Monkey - installation is not possible, maybe this "old" App was not compatible with Android 9
