I don't think Pentax made a 28-105mm f/4 lens. Are you referring to the recently release D-FA 28-105mm f/3.5-5.6? That camera and lens combo isn't too heavy. Are you using a battery grip?
The flash isn't super huge either, I think.
I use a plain, simple Lowepro 160 with two compartments. A large one holds the camera and a small narrow holds the flash. There's enough pockets inside and outside for batteries, extra cards, etc.
I recommend you drink the bottle of whiskey ASAP to reduce the amount of weight you carry. Never mind the immediate effect.
I'd rather carry an ultra wide angle lens instead of a pistol. You can get more shots with it before needing to reload.
