Well sold some Fuji gear now is the K1 the replacement ?

Have sold some Fuji gear wanting to mover to FF, Have owned Pentax in the past (before the K1) my purpose was to have better tilt/shift lenses selection for real estate and landscapes. I did have some reservations though, But after reading some post here I think the K1 is more than enough to accomplish what I want. I do like the larger mp count of the K1 and the features.
Anyway that's my 2 cents

Kevin

Both the K-1 and K-1ii are loaded with features and outstanding IQ.

.
I've owned Fuji X gear for years. The K-1 is my favorite full frame system.

If tilt shift is your thing, get a Nikon full frame.

If you can live with shift only, no special lens is needed. The K-1 can move the sensor to do what a shift lens does. Just needs a wide or ultra wide full frame lens. If you need tilt a special lens will be required.

I'm not an expert on this, but I don't think you have much choice for tilt/shift lenses in K mount. There's a Rokinon 24mm and not much else.

Yeah only the Rokinon and an older Pentax 28mm shift lens that I know of.
However the Rokinon one is quite good from what I've read and maybe it will be all you need

Though tilt/shift are pretty niche, so I don't know if any system is particularly overflowing with them

Thanks for all the input...Ok I guess I have to send back the K-1 I just ordered .... J/K .... my interest was more to try and avoid correcting architecture in post as much as possible, I may not need the tilt-shift as much as I think, Had just watched a video using one and that sparked my interest... I am far more interested in the other features the K-1 offers... Thanks again for all the info..... and yes I am ordering my K-1 tonight...
Thanks
Kevin

Canon EOS has the most. 17mm, 24mm, 45mm, and 90mm.

Most real-estate work doesn’t require tilt, unless high-rise is a specialty, and even then you can do a lot with the Pentax perspective correction. A shift lens might be handy for interior panoramas, but I don’t know if any other makes provide in-camera stitching, so a tripod and post-processing would be necessary regardless of whether you’re using a shift or non-shift lens.

Congratulations on your order! I'm sure you'll enjoy the camera. The Rokinon is too expensive so it might be fun to get one and see what you can do with it.

Congratulations and welcome to the forums. Enjoy the K-1. It's a great camera. Perhaps the built in GPS will also be useful?
Thanks,

I am guessing you wanted to use "isn't" in this context
