To import images to Lightroom so I have to do it manually. It's a drag. It just sees the K-1 as external drive or something.

It doesn't do that with any of my other camera's. Does anybody know how I could mend that?

I'm just stumbling around in the dark too but try opening the control panel (not settings) and pick "autoplay" and fool around with the settings there. Possibly under devices.

Exactly what Not a Number says - my K-S2 & K70 come up as open folder. looking in the Autoplay lists I have the option to import photos into Lightroom - choose that one and it should come back.

Nothing seems to work. Maybe I some how need to get windows to forget it's connected usb drive history. But can't find where.

I found out it is card slot related. I put another card in slot 2. That imported right away. So I reformatted the card in slot 1. Took a picture but no import. Put the card in slot 2. Import right away. So it is either slot one or windows that is causing the problem. Changed the drive letter. That didn't work. Other card in slot 1 didn't work either.
