I'll second your findings. I bought a K-1 Mark II back in the spring I think and never really used it in earnest until my wife's company Christmas party. Took about 350 or so photos and I think I missed focus once, and that subject was so close I was amazed at how close to correct the focus actually was. This was using my Sigma EX24-70, a Pentax 540 flash and a Gary Fong diffuser. They had "professional" gambling tables set up so I was able to get plenty of reaction shots, plus a DJ and dance floor that was pretty dark, but this combo came through like a pro. Owner of the company was thrilled with the results and I just let them share them for download among all the employees. They were a big hit! I heard later that a lot of the employees that don't know me just thought, "oh cool, the company hired a photographer."

My adblocker blocks the images for privacy reasons/social widgets or something, as they are hosted by Facebook. So I can't see them.

I can work around it, and the pix look good, but just FYI.

Those are great images. Seems like you're doing quite well with that camera and lens.
