RiceHigh's Pentax Blog: Compatibility of DA Lenses on Full Frame
There are other sites as well that describe this and share sample shots. There are some DA lenses that work well on full frame, some that are close enough to drive debate over a yes or no answer, and then there's lenses like this which won't work on full frame. You can enable square crop mode on the K-1 to basically cut out the dark corners but this is going to take away sensor area from the final image.
The DA 35 f2.4 seems to work pretty well on full frame. The FA (and HD FA that just came out) 35mm f2.0 is from the film era and definitely covers full frame. Or you can shop for used glass.
