K-1 sensor shake - can you feel/hear it?

I have had a KS2 for over a year, and use the sensor cleaning on shutdown, which gives a very noticable vibration and small sound like da-da-da when it shuts down.

Just got a used K-1 that is in very nice condition (<6000 shutter count) and I put the same sensor clean (vibrate/shake) on shutdown. BUT - I can't hear or feel anything when I turn the camer off.
I know the shutter is much more silent on the K-1. Is the sensor clean function just quiet, or should I be concerned that it's not working?

The flagship bodies use a different sensor clean. The low end bodies just shook the sensor.

My K-S2s sensor shake also rattles noticeably.

I was shooting in a very quiet forest on Saturday with the K1, and unusually could distinctly hear the SR operating on half-push of the shutter release. With normal ambient sound levels, I never hear it.

If I place the K1 to my ear and turn it off, I can hear a slight noise, which I take to be the sensor clean, but you have to listen carefully. I have dust removal activated for both start-up and shut-down.

The K-1 and other flagship models have ultrasonic DR II, unlike other models which simply shake the sensor using the SR mechanism.

You wont hear it, different shake mechanism, large heavy body. I would not worry. It is like buying some of the newer lenses and the motors are so silent you think nothing is happening.

On my K-3 and K-3ii I can sometimes hear the dust removal at startup and shut down. It has to be really quite and I have to be close to the camera like when I go out for astro shooting but it makes a very faint whine noise. My K-500 and K2000 on the other hand have a very clear and noticeable da-da-da... noise and associated vibration.

Yes, it can be heard but not as notably as the K-S2 or K-70. They're a vibrational dust removal method whereas the K-1's is ultrasonic. As above, the K-S2/K-70 was a 'tuka-tuka-tuk' type noise, the K-1 is a very faint 'wheee' type noise.
