The K-1 certainly holds its own in terms of IQ, in spite of having a lower pixel count and being 4 years older than the Z7 and R5. Canon still seems to be lagging with the colour fidelity of its sensors, and the R5’s overheating issue hasn’t been fully overcome.

Yes, but it's not mirrorless!

It's a pity quality, fidelity and ruggedness take a back seat to fashionability these days. The K1 is a beast.

Pentax: We're still waiting for the other brands to catch up to the MKII.

Also, I thought Cameraville gave up promoting Pentax.

I think the leaks indicate a K1 III coming out some time next year.

The mirrorless is what people are used to because of their phones! I have both, and prefer the real viewfinder far more, in most all circumstances. And should I want to go "mirrorless" for a shot, I still have Live View mode.

I had no idea Canon's R5 had issues around power - specifically AF freezing and drop in frame rate when battery gets to 70% or less. Is that for real, or just something CameraVille guy has misinterpreted?

Doing a search shows quite a few mentions of it on Canon Community sites and elsewhere. It does appear to be "a thing", but not consistent.
