This is an astonishing image. The colours are superb, the detail is sharp, I love it

Edit: I agree with Vanya about the watermark, it is a bit distracting

I like the image but the watermark is too large.

Why did I read the title in Jello Biafa's voice?

Great looking photo.

I would drop the watermark down in size big time. too large and distracting from a great photo.

Thank you for the compliments. The image was originally posted on Facebook a couple of days ago, hence the watermark.

Thanks all for the compliments, the watermark was because I posted this image on Facebook and didn't want it "stolen". Sharpness due the 300 F4!

You see, now you are just trying to make us all jealous

It worked! This is glorious

One question, are you using CTE white balance? If not, give it a try. It is especially for sunrises and sunsets and brings out the natural pinks and magentas

I have never tried it! I must give it a go, on your recommendation.

However, I always shoot Raw, so any white balance can be applied equally well in post-processing. I would be interested to know what the parameters of CTE are.

That's the thing, it brings out magentas and pinks that are the devil to reproduce. Try taking a few comparison shots and let me know how you get on. I shoot raw too but the CTE gives me a better starting point
