O-GPS1 Simple Navigarion

I just got this for my K-70 for geo and astrotracking for my trip to Maui in a couple weeks. I tested and all looks fine but when I read the manual, it shows a simple navigation option in the menu but I dont see it in my camera. My firmware is up to date so it is not that. I dont know if I would ever use the simple nav or not but just curious as to what is up with it. Anyone know?

Thanks

The options for the Astrotracer are presented at the Ricoh site, see GPS UNIT O-GPS1 | RICOH IMAGING. Simple Navigation is not available on the K-70, only K-5II/K-50 and lower. That's a bummer, I suppose.

I don't know what other options are part of the Simple Navigation program on the K5 & K50 but Electronic compass does work on the K70 but it is a little tricky to find if you are unsure where to look.
With the GPS on the camera, turned on and acquired a satellite signal
Press the INFO Button Twice and and move the "Display" setting to the "Electronic Compass" and Press OK
The LCD screen will show the Compass Heading in degrees, relative to North and to where the lens is pointing, Latitude & Longitude and Elevation for about 30 seconds
